ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico – The U.S. Department of Energy has selected Sigma Science, Inc. to provide nuclear industry advisory and
assistance services to the DOE Idaho Operations Office.
Under the 5-year contract, Sigma and its subcontractors – NAC International, Enercon Federal Services, Leidos,
and Strata-G – will provide DOE-ID technical assistance in the performance of engineering reviews and analyses,
technical evaluations, regulatory reviews, cost estimating, program management, management assessments, and
technical monitoring.
Sigma is a small, disadvantaged business founded in 1996 in Albuquerque, NM. The company has a 25-year
proven history of delivering critical solutions to federal clients and serving as a trusted provider of advisory
services and assistance to the DOE, National Nuclear Security Administration, and U.S. Department of Defense.
With its small- and large-business partners, the team brings long-standing working relationships with industry-providers of advanced reactor technologies and fuel design. NAC is a recognized leader in nuclear fuel cycle
technology, including spent fuel operations, facility licensing, and transportation services and equipment.
Enercon has experience at every U.S. nuclear power plant and is a recognized leader in nuclear utility operations.
Leidos is a Fortune 500 company with more than 40 years’ experience supporting the nuclear industry, and Strata-G is a small business with extensive experience supporting nuclear operations and development of advanced
reactor technologies.
