ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico – Sigma Science, along with partners Strata-G, LLC and Project Professional Services, Inc. (Pro2Serve), will be providing technical and administrative support services to the Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Y-12 Acquisition and Project Management Office (Y-12 APMO).
The contract was initially awarded to Sigma Science in July, however a protest was filed against the award. Last week, the General Accounting Office denied the protest, allowing DOE to move forward with the contract award.
Sigma Science and our partners have extensive experience providing technical services to NNSA, with a depth in project management expertise and experience serving NNSA on capital asset projects. The companies have a proven track record of working together as a fully integrated team on a variety of DOE contracts.
According to Sigma Science CEO Gil Torres, “We received this contract based on the strong performance and reputation of our staff and teaming partners. Our performance on this contract is built on a solid foundation of trust and collaboration between Sigma, Strata-G, Pro2Serve and our NNSA client.”
The period of performance is for 1 year, with four option years. Over the next month, Sigma Science will work with the current contractor to transition the work scope and personnel.
