Meet Jeri D'Orazio, Program Manager

What’s your favorite part about working for Sigma? The variety of my projects and their locations, but the most important thing is the diversity and talents of the people I interface and work with.

What’s one professional achievement you’re most proud of? I actually have two that are very near and dear 1)Supporting the Three Mile Island Spent Nuclear Fuel and Debris Project and helping to put our nationals worst nuclear accident into a safe configuration, 2) Helping turnaround and bring on line the Advanced Mixed Waste Treatment Project(Facility) at the INL to retrieve and treat legacy cold war nuclear waste which some of it was in an unsafe and deteriorating configuration and shipping it to WIPP for safe long-term storage.

What is the most rewarding part of your job? Working with a team of talented people to complete and meet important work scope objectives together.

What is the best advice someone has ever given you? Treat everyone you meet with respect and honor as if they would someday be your boss.

If you were a superhero what would your power(s) be? I didn’t realize there [are] 487 superpowers in the comic and movie data base, but what I believe is my “SO Called Superpower” is a relatively minor one of the 487: Intuitive Aptitude: The ability to analyze complex systems and intuitively understand how they work without special education or training. I like to find solutions to issues and naturally I have the ability work through things. I’m not afraid to voice my idea no matter how stupid they may sound if it will help find a solution
